Chasing music festivals

Question

Back in the before-time we were trying to incorporate the odd music (blues) festival into our itineraries but I was having problems finding them. The best I could do was pick a couple of artists and see where their tour schedules took them and work from there.

Does anybody know of a site or Facebook group or google map that acts as some sort of directory for music festivals?

Having looked for the same thing myself, I did a search for "Concerts Southern Alberta" and it returned a number of possible places to look including a page on travelalberta.com that showed a variety of shows for every genre of music.
There are other returns for that search that show different venues, what acts are coming there etc.

I think it's going to be a while before live tours really get back into the swing of things.

I decided to wing it instead.  There’s a website out there for everything, why not this?  :)
