I-5 or Rt. 99
We will be traveling north thru central Calif. early in Dec. We will be driving a motorhome and pulling a car. Which road is in better condition, I-5 or Rt. 99. Thanks

Just drove I-5 northbound from I-210 to highway 46 at Lost Hills. Most of it was very rough. Constant thumpity thump most of the way. Not so much potholes but rather uneven sections that felt like I was on a dirt road with bad washboard. Numerous uneven patches that grab tires at times. I-10 westbound thru L.A. area has several similar stretches as well. It's California...not known for smooth highways!
