I-70 Durango to Salt Lake City

How about leaving US6 at Price, and taking US191 over an unnamed pass to Duchesene and US40? Or even UT35? Gives you a taste of the mountains of NE Utah.

We are fulltimers currently in Green River, Utah. Glendale, Utah next week followed Vegas and several other places before we hit Orlando for the winter. Where are you guys?

Highway 6 IS boring, but the last time I went up from Green River to American Fork (or maybe Spanish Fork) I think I saw a total of two other vehicles the entire time. Talk about having the road to yourself.

Your route is good except from I-70 in Utah it's west to UT28 (or UT50) and up I-15 to Salt Lake City. All good roads for a RV. Safe travels!

Drove 50 yesterday from I-15 to 70. Beautiful drive. Two lane road without much traffic. No problem at all.

OP is referring to Gunnison UT, on state hwy 28 north of Salina UT, and his reference to CO 28 was in error, it is Utah Hwy 28.

Joe, having taken 6 from I-70 to I-15 it's OK but boring. I'd be tempted to use 28 out of Gunnison, even in a 42' MH as based on Google maps it's a straight enough rural paved road.
