I-70 in Colorado, going East
Has anyone experienced the "toll road" part of I-70? It appears that towing of any trailer would not be included in the toll road portion of I-70. Does that sound right? Hate to assume. Thanks

There are 2 relatively new toll lane stretches on I70, one coming down the mountain, and the other on the east side of downtown. Look up CO-DOT's express toll lane page. I've looked at it, but didn't pay attention to tolls for the number of axles or trailers.
You don't have to use either portion, and if you aren't setup ahead of time to pay, it would be simpler and cheaper to skip them.

Correction - the Mountain express lanes are open at peak times, but the eastern part is just planned.
