If you take 36 across Kansas and 27 n at ST. Francis to 34 at Brush go north on 71 to 14 east to 85 north to Cheyenne.......Very little traffic and a real good way to go !! You get to miss all the high speed, aggressive driving and still make great time.
Also a great alternative! OR...if you take CO 71, just stay on it up in to Nebraska (NE 71) which intersects with I-80 at Kimball, NE. Straight shot in to Pine Bluffs and on to Cheyenne.
