- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerI would take US441 north to US129/US441 thru Athens GA if you want a slower more scenic route. You can pikup I-85 to Greenville SC from there then to I-77 in Charlotte. I-75 thru Atlanta is not a problem but we prefer to avoid it since we have plenty of time. 2 rv parks we like: Cross Winds RV park in Linwood NC and Fort Chiswell RV park at Max Meadows VA near the I-81 & I-77 interchange.
- dennisgt60ExplorerDriven through Atlanta via I-75 many times . Just avoid AM/PM rush and you will sail right on through.
- agesilausExplorer IIIThere really is no reason to avoid Atlanta, there have been many threads about it here, and the consensus is to drive right thru. Avoid rush hour if you can. I have driven thru on I75 many times. Just get in the HOV lane and you'll be fine. We often hit a slow down right after that underpass downtown but I've never been delayed, more than a few minutes, until it breaks up.
