i-80 from San Francisco to Denver

Boulderado - take I 80 to Saltlake City area, then south on I15 to meet the west end of I 70 then eastward to home!! Done this many times.
Or south on I 15 to Spanish Forks then 6 to Green River (I 70) then homeward!!

is that the route you were thinking of?

I-80 doesn't go thru Denver.
