I 80 Nebraska ???
Along I 80 in Nebraska there are ponds along the freeway approx. 1/4 mile long. What is the purpose of them and how do they keep them full? Thanks

Some states call them Storm water ponds some call them containment ponds. After They put a road threw a wetlands they need a place for the runoff to go to stop flooding. They also collect silt to keep it from destroying the surrounding environment.
