I 80 Nebraska ???
Along I 80 in Nebraska there are ponds along the freeway approx. 1/4 mile long. What is the purpose of them and how do they keep them full? Thanks

Yeah, they are from building the interstate, BUT because Nebraska is so flat, the dirt removed was used to build mounds so the surveyors could see where to go next :B They decided to convert the mounds to overpasses later.
