Big Daddy....we don't like to camp labour day. It seems every owned or rented RV is on the road. We will be on the water in the boat.
Fall is the best time to camp.We were in Kirkland Lake, Ontario the first week of august and the leaves were turning.
Up until 3 years ago we always camped in a tent in september. It is cold where we go. If you look on the map of Ontario and find Hearst. Then imagine 6 hours drive north on a logging road. Daytime highs were around 15C and night time -5C. Obviously no electrics or plumbing or water(carry your own)......Absolutely perfect!
