I40 NC to TN

Understand there has been another rock slide in NC near TN line, closing lanes. Has any one traveled thru there in the last few days, and did you experience any long delays? Heading to northwest OH this week and this is the shortest route. Thanks

    The slide is on US 41 in Tennessee in Marion County. There is construction on I-40 between Asheville, NC, and Chattanooga, but the road is open. You can get more info on the TN and NC DOT web sites.
