There is construction in S bound lanes on I-75 north of Atlanta. Not in the actual lanes but they are building an overhead road on the right side. All this is about 3 or 4 miles and pretty much finished by the time you get to I-285. Worst times is early in the morning rush hour. Moves along pretty well after 9 AM or a little later. Not good on Fridays! Come thru on a Sunday is best, but if you cannot, try between 10 AM and 2 PM. Remember when you come all the way through there are people trying to get back South to go home also.
