Right now the Atlanta traffic isn't the problem, it's that 10 to 20 mile back up southbound from just south of the confluence with I-675 to Stockbridge/McDonough. We drove northbound last Thursday & did ok but southbound was a parking lot (I posted about it here). We returned to Florida yesterday and it was not quite as bad, but very congested and slow. We had planned to exit at 19/41 to Griffin and use US 19, but GA 5ll reported it to be just as bad. I think we lost about an hour with the 15mph stop and go traffic. Depending on where you are going in Florda you can seek alternative routes but for most of us it is grin and bear it. lizzie
