We always use 81 to 66 to 17 to 95, as the majority on here, as Bumpy said, the only real major congestion is near Fredericksburg, trying to get onto 95 south. If that congestion bothers you, you can run farther down 81 to 64 east, to 288 which bypasses Richmond & puts you back on 95 near Chester south of Richmond.
