I95 going to Florida

I will be traveling from Knoxville Tn to Orlando, Florida and stopping mid-way in Savanna Ga. I am thinking of taking I40 to I26 to I95 South. After the devastating floods a few months ago I am wondering if I95 is safe to travel.

Has anyone traveled along this route recently?

    We did I95 from Savanna down to Palm Beach area 2 weeks ago and it was fine except the areas where it goes to 2 lanes and switches over for bridge work. Having never been to the east coast of Florida, I was surprised on how bad the drivers are, but good weather won't be changing that.

    Should be fine now. All the issues are in the past now.....just traveled that route by auto and it was ok!

    Hey! How about YOU let ME know how route 95 is to florida. I heading there from NJ next month, and also stopping for a night in Savanna!

    We took that exact same route (i40,i26,i95) from Gatlinburg to Central FL in a 30' class C a little over a month ago and no problems at all.
