- magnusfideExplorer IIIt's ALL good. Love the place you're in.
- darsbenExplorer IIWOW ONLY ONE.
Impossible task
I think you should change your post to routes that can be done in a large RV
The ones I really like are hard in a large RV but they are
1) Apache Trail limited to about 25 foot rig in spots unless you are really daring
2) Salt River canyon but not easy in a big rig.
But the Favorite large rig doable route for me is the Natchez Trace from Nashville, Tn to Natchez, Ms slow paced 2 lane tree lined historic beautiful free campgrounds. - knshookExplorerIsn't open all year, but the North Rim road from Jacob's lake to North Rim Grand Canyon Lodge.
- rv2goExplorer IIBlue Ridge Parkway in the fall.
- gboppExplorerI like to travel the old US Highways, most are two lane.
Staying off the Interstate as much as possible is one of my main likes. Sorry, I can't give you just one.
You can't see America from the Interstate system. - B_SjulestadExplorer II550 from Durango to Ouray Colorado.
- kknowltonExplorer IINot sure it's iconic, but US 26 from Idaho Falls to Jackson, Wyoming. Gorgeous. In the fall, it's a stunner.
- newkExplorerOh my! Hard to pick just one, but I'd have to say the Beartooth Highway from Red Lodge, MT to Yellowstone's NE gate. http://beartoothhighway.com
My late wife and I traveled it during the first of many camping trips together. It's a beautiful drive. Some don't recommend driving it in a motorhome, but that's exactly what we did, and we enjoyed it going into the Park so much that we took the same route back home after visiting Yellowstone and surrounding areas. - pawattExplorerGoing to the Sun road in Glacier National Park. Allow a full day & stop at the historic lodges.
- pawattExplorerUS Highway 61 from Duluth MN to Thunder Bay Canada. Cliffs, waterfalls & Lake Superior.
