If you're going to Monument Valley....

I agree that Mokey Dugway should not be done while towing but..... In a car or pickup fine. Shortly after reaching the top there is a left turn that takes you about 5 miles to Muley Point. The 5 miles is not a road so much as 2 tire ruts in/over powder, gravel, stone and the occasional boulder to avoid. We saw a couple small cars that made it so any vehicle can make it with the driver paying attention. The view from Muley Point is WELL WORTH the time to drive it. Monument Valley is over 25 miles away but easily visible. Goosenecks State Park is below it. Muley Point is a must for any photographer amateur or pro.
