In Texas; from I-20 to Fredricksburg, tx 16 or 281?
Which Texas hwy , 16 or 281 is better for 40' coach and toad. From I-20 to Fredricksburg? Thanks in advance!

I've taken both many times between Fort Worth and Kerrville.
There's a "low" bridge on SH-16 in San Saba, but the clearance is listed as 13.5' (just north of US-190). Should be no problem for most of us...

I prefer SH-16. Lower traffic, fewer trucks, and it's direct to Fredricksburg or Kerrville.
