indiana to Maine best route what to avoid
Traveling to Niagara Falls then up to Maine Bar Harbor area....would like to hear you seasoned travelers suggestions.....oh with 2 dogs.. leaving from northern Indiana. Thanks for any info you share....

Hi, we are from NH. Do not travel on I-95 on a Sat or Sun during the summer. From Salisbury, MA thru Portsmouth, NH and north to Portland ME is a parking lot on the weekends. All the rental property's are from Sat noon checkout and checkin. Especially around Kittery thru York, ME and obviously, avoid commute times.
Travel during the week Tues-Thur this area and you should be fine.
