In reply to dieharder's question, my propane costs when boondocking or at an RV park are about the same, so they don't factor into the equation. I haven't had the generator long enough to see how the cost of running it compares to paying for power at an RV park.
I also don't like staying at RV parks. You're cramped together, they're noisy, and they have way too many rules.

Rules? Mexican RV parks are a lot more lax.
