inexpensive long-term stay in Sonora?

Again, Tioga George is a man. I am a woman. Women have told me to expect to be hassled. Completely different world out there for ladies apparently. I've been told that, generally speaking, the stereotype about Mexican men and their machismo is valid. George also has much better Spanish skills than I do. I do understand the language very well but can only express myself basically.

I know that I would not be able to explore outside the paperwork free zone. I'M sure there would be more then enough in the immediate area to explore!
