Boondocking doesn't mean you plop your behind down wherever you want. I never said that. Good boondockers check out the area first, ask for permission, ask questions from locals and police. In small towns our first stop is the police station. We ask them where we can park. In towns of hundreds or less it is usually the town square or in front of the school. We use large rest stops like Parador San Pedro on Hwy 57, parques recreativos, balnearios, etc. We also ask a taxi to show us places they know of.
