Yes, 12V blanket that draws 6A for 72W. Has a half hour or one hour button to shut it off after that time.
I have two of these blankets. One is in the bed, one is in the office. It's more economical to sit at the computer with the blanket around my shoulders and on than to run the furnace to heat the whole rig. I just shut the office door and I'm very comfortable to work.
I'm electrically savvy; I designed and built my own system after doing an electrical audit. So I know how much things I use consume and how I can replace that consumption. I'm in the market to add another 150W solar panel after I put new tires on the motorhome and once that's done I'll barely have to use the genset at all. Right now, what's sucking me dry is my laptop and I'll be switching to a less energy hungry model at some point.
As for internet in Mexico, I appreciate the tips. I always prefer to have my own connection since I absolutely need internet to run my business.
