Just a couple of suggestions based on our experiences in Mexico. If you can get an antenna up onto an RV roof or higher location and do some "aiming" to peak the receive signal you might get better results, I've done this with a friend's truck camper where he was able to open his egress vent. Any booster won't improve the receive signal by itself unless it has a better receive antenna or is better aimed, but it will give a better transmit signal back to the wifi you are trying to connect to.
And I second the comments about repeaters, a few years ago I donated and installed a repeater for the wifi at Villas Onac, it took the weak signal from their wireless router (designed for household use and used around the pool) and it provided a strong enough signal to reach to the top of the park. It only resulted in additional use that used up the Hughes sat internet daily allowance quicker (but that's another story!)
