There are 2( maybe 3) USA insurers that will extend your US insurance to Mexico. It only covers accidents and theft. Some only provide coverage for a short distance into Mexico. NONE will insure a car. AFAIK they only cover Motorhomes. NO Canadian insurer that I know has this coverage. If one wants to know why NOB Insurers do not provide coverage just read this thread from the beginning. Too much of a hassle for most insurers. They do not want to deal with this nonsense. I suppose Lloyds of London would provide coverage but the cost would be outrageous!
