Documentation

I am in a heated discussion with Ram hater. He says my actual payload is lower than what the door sticker says. I think that it is mainly because mine is higher than his Chevy.
My sticker says not to exceed 1487# including all passengers and cargo. I also have a document printed at the dealer on my request that Ram calls a "Vehicle Capability Sheet". This paper identifies the truck by VIN, lists all standard and optional installed equipment, has UVW,GVW,GCVWR, Maximum Towing, and Maximum payload. He claims that this is a generic document and may be off to the tune of several hundred pounds. I will concede maybe 30 or 40 pounds, but to my way of thinking no way would Chryslers law department let sales issue a vehicle specific document attesting to these limits if they weren't accurate.
What say you?
