Well, I got 5 pages of forms to fill out from International Claims in McCallen Texas. They are requesting:
-Police reports (3)all original from Ministerio, Federal police, and Municipal police.
-Tourist policy - original
-Driver's lic copy
-DMV registration (cancel registration)
-Title - signed (original if paid off)
-photos if available
-Mexico adjuster's report - original
-Importation permit (copy if vehicle required)
-Canadian police report (original)
-Bill of sale (if available)
-Canadian insurance denial / acceptance letter
- all sets of keys
-Proof of residence (copy of light. water, or phone bill)
I'm starting to feel that the weight has descended again. I will be left with only copies, so will visit the Ministerio to see if they will give me some sort of verified copy of their reports and possibly of the police reports. The municipal police were absolutely not involved. RYV
