MW: I did not stop at the Banjercito north bound. We tried to get the tip cancelled while in Mexico but just got sent from office to office and finally after several days we just gave up on that idea. We had been told somewhere along the line that since the vehicle was not recovered we would have to pay the duty, some 30%. Qualitas indicated that they were able to get a copy of the import document. I'm going to see if they can email me a copy.
By the way, Qualitas coughed up the $$$. Picked up the registered mail cheque this morning and deposited it in the bank! Next week someone will be doing some serious vehicle shopping!
