self priming Siphon/ Syphon Hose has a 1/2" diamater, 6 Foot long anti-static , anti-spark hose with a 3/4" diameter copper tip that contains a check valve (a glass ball and stainless steel spring). The secret to the Siphon Hose is in this check valve which makes it self-priming.

Works well and you don't have to hold a 5 gallon in some awful position to empty the can.
Buy the plastic gas cans they work best.
I take one across the boarder every time I cross, no one has ever questioned me.
