If you do much of this you'd be better off installing a permanent auxiliary tank.
Jerry cans work, but, you need to use and replenish that fuel every so often.
I noticed on ebay you can still buy the metal and plastic Jerry cans and brackets to mount them. I did not want a loose gas can in the back of the truck.
I did not know what the rules were for Canada entering and filling such cans.
I like the VP plastic 5 gallon but having a hard time finding a lockable bracket. The bracket you do find the jug just sits in.
