Between Ft. Nelson and Whitehorse and hwy 37 gas can be very expensive. Haven't been past Whitehorse yet by road so no cost experience there. I have used plastic cans forever, truck, quad, boat, snowmobiles no issues. Do place them on the ground though when filling. I secure them in the box of the truck and leave the canopy windows open when carrying gas for ventilation.
