Joplin to Prince Edward island

My map studies say I should use Canadian Routes for the last third of so of the trip. Is this this best when?
  • I have made the trip from Tennessee, and would agree that you expenses will be higher in Canada. Especially fuel.
Also there are two ways on and off the island, and you pay when leaving the island. Ferry and Bridge. For Ferry you pay by the foot and the bridge is a flat rate. Our rig was around 45 feet long, and it was about $15 to $20 less to go on the ferry and come back on the bridge.
Also if you are in Maine, try and take in Acadia National Park. It is well worth it.
  • I would not do that. It's a long way up and over the top of Maine. But if you have extra time, Quebec is very scenic. Fuel prices will be higher4 in Canada also.

If you go that route and decide to change your mind there's no decent way to cut across Maine.
