Kingman to Las Vegas on 93

Taking this road in a few days, how is the driving with the winds? Motorhome, no toad. Thanks
  • I was over it 4 days ago. There are a few miles of new pavement just south of the park boarder. Overall is road is good to excellent. I travel this route every few months between Havasu and Vegas, I prefer it over 95 on the other side of the river.
The only problem with the southbound direction is getting through Boulder city on Sunday, the traffic can be heavy. When entering Boulder get in the left lane early as you have to make a left turn in town.
  • I plan to do that route the end of this week. 14 October 2017.

Has anyone been on US 93 Southbound recently and if so what was the condition of the road?

A year ago it was in good condition but i could tell it was getting close to needing some major work.
  • I have traveled 93 many times and never had an issue with wind.
  • It can be a windy route but most of the time not. Near Hoover dam there is a stretch where the road signs actually direct RV's to the left lane to better deal with the sometimes severe gusts. Watch the local weather and travel early in the day if possible.

Times I've driven it was Great - heard it might need some pothole work, as it's been a few years for me and RT 93.

    Enjoy the drive,
