Kitty Hawk to Cherry Hill Park----Maryland

Been 20 yrs since I have been in DC (Quantico)....I have a proposed route ref the above and asking for input....40' MH pulling a Jeep.....

Looking to leave Kitty Hawk via Hwy 158 to the 168..to I-64....Should I go east or west around Portsmouth?? Any route here better??

I-64 to Hwy 17 to hwy 301 to hwy 5 then the beltway (95/495) around DC to hwy 1 then on to Cherry Hill RV park....

    Did Kitty Hawk to Williamsburg to Andrews AFB a couple weeks ago.

    My recommendations - do not go on I-64 through Norfolk, go around to the west. We had to stop at the bridge/ tunnel entrance on I-64 and show our propane tanks were closed. You may have to stop and show the same if you take the Hampton Roads Bridge/ Tunnel. Farther west the US-17/US-258 bridge does not have a propane restriction.

    US-17 to US-301 to MD-5 - excellent route. Easy drive - minimal traffic. The Beltway is the Beltway. Many times easy - many times a parking lot.
