Knoxville TN to Lexington KY

Thanks for the response Helmsey.
We are home now and went north on I-75 from Knoxville then east on I-64.
Much better route, less construction (probably next year may change?) and better road surface.
Learned my lesson to check the state DOT web page before traveling; would have saved 3 hours and the physical abuse from the road surface.

The only problem is that the work is NEVER done!

The only thing I know of up to the state line is 1 construction project on the northbound side at MM 135 - 137. This work is being done in the evening and should not have any lanes closed during the day.
