If you like there is a large truck pullout directly across the highway from the Hotsprings entrance you can pull in there and walk across to check things out.
The day use area in there is a roundabout I have seen the longer rigs park on the inside edge of the circle.
Staff at the entrance will give you the right info.
A couple of hours gives you time for a nice soak and leisurely walk in and out on the boardwalk.

I parked there about noon walked in and took a soak ($5.00) -- spent the night and was on the road early AM.
