- MorninghillExplorerAppreciate the Seminole Canyon State Park recommendation.
Have a reservation here for later this week. Only there for one night so probably won't make the tour.
Thanks - MorninghillExplorer

Where is the rv parking in Langtry? Along the curb? Nothing else apparent on Google maps.
40' motorhome with toad.
Thanks
You'd fit in this awesome campground about 15 miles from Lantry:

Also, take the tour offered.
Having visited there and looking at a satellite picture to refresh my memory, I'd say there are plenty of spaces in the dirt lots around the museum if you don't care to spend the night nearby. The town is not very populated. It probably has about the same number of people as when Judge Roy Bean was there and certainly less than when the railroad was being built through the area. - 2gypsies1Explorer III

Thanks - filrupmarkExplorerAnother vote for 90 to Van Horn . Beautiful out there, nice smooth roads also. Watch the traffic you may pass a car every 3 or 4 miles. By fuel when its available. Stations are few and far between.
- cross21114ExplorerThanks all,
Chris - TexasShadowExplorer IIditto to stopping for a quick visit to Judge Roy Bean Museum.
Sanderson is about 90 miles from Del Rio...good for refueling if needed.
Stay on 90 all the way to Van Horn.
Marathon has a restored old hotel with gourmet dining if you like that. Can't miss it. The Gage Hotel if you want to look it up.
Marfa has a paranormal(to date, unexplained) sight. Look up Marfa Mystery lights.
you can park overnight at the rest stop 6 miles or so east of Marfa.. and see the lights. - alfredmayExplorerI have done this many times and suggest you use Doug's suggestion of 277 thru Eagle Pass and on to Del Rio. It is a good route but be aware that fuel and food are spaced far apart after Del Rio.
Stop in Langtry at the Judge Roy Bean Museum. It is half a mile off the highway and has RV parking. It is free and well worth the visit.
