I hate to break it to you. It is not legal to leave a vehicle in Mexico with a 180 day permit on it. It is only legal if it has a 10 year RV permit. Now you may get away with it, but in Puerto Vallarta, at least they are sticky. I know somebody who was not allowed on the plane. A sharp official will notice your visa showing you as entering with a vehicle and want to see the paperwork. The caravan company I am working with (Mexican registered tour company) has confirmed this is the case with Banjercito.
