The only way to leave a vehicle that does not have a 10 year permit is to surrender the vehicle to Secretaria de Aduanas, they will store it at an impound lot, make shure that there is nothing of value left in the vehicle otherwise it will be emptyied for you.
Depending on the length of your absense, rent an appartment and leave you posesion there and surrender the vehicle, when you return claim the vehicle and collect the posessions.
If you are pulling a trailer the trailer will have a ten year permit, the tow vehicle will not, trailer can stay the other one needs to be surrendered.
If you have an RV that is pulling a toad the RV can stay the toad needs to be surrendered.
