Let's eat

WE have eaten at the Crazy Norwegian, in Port Orford three times and the last time it wasn't that good , we are going to try some place else next time.

In Bandon we like the Bandon fish house ( the little blue house )on the dock.

In Florance we like Moe's on the dock

X2 We also enjoyed a seafood dinner at Spinner's in Gold Beach. A little pricey but the food and service were very good.

We just got back from a trip on the OR coast. Coastal Living Magazine did an article on the best seafood on the OR coast, which a friend of ours wrote and photographed, and they chose Crazy Norwegian, in Port Orford as the best.

As we parked the MH there and we got out to have lunch, a car parked across the road from us and a guy got out and said: Ron, is that you? We had sailed together for ~15 years, and had lost track of each other. We ate together at Crazy N, which was great, but he recommended a new restaurant just south of there in an art gallery that looked magnificent. I would have preferred to eat there.

We also stayed at the marina at Winchester Bay and ate at a floating restaurant at the SE corner of the marina which was great. We also bought Dungeness Crab from a fish market at the N side of the marina which was great. It killed me to pay $32 for 2 cleaned crab, when I catch them on the beach in front of our house..but we had a need.

Oregon resturants:
While not the fanciest resturant in Oregon, Moe's in Cannon Beach serves a good bowl of clam chowder.

Bandon, Oregon -----Wheelhouse Restaurant........best crab louise EVER... at least ...LEAST 1 lb crab on the salad!!!! Oh -- we were just there a few weeks ago......:)
