We used LyL last Winter Trip! We had no problems or claims,so can't say anything negative about them.
Bear in mind they are just one of many Agencies that Represent Mexican Insurance Companies, as with any Sales Company..Insurance or otherwise they offer several programs with different Deductibles,Shop Labor Rates ,Coverage Areas Etc.
When purchasing Your Insurance Policy ask questions and buy the options that make sense to You!
As an example ..a higher deductible will save You money on the premium,but can You afford to run up Your Credit Card or pull funds from your Bank easily if You need to?
Shop Rates are generally much higher to have Your Vehicle repaired in the USA than in Mexico..You will find that there are Good and Bad Repair places in Both Countries! The choice is of course Yours and paying extra for higher USA Shop Rates will at least guarantee that the Repairs will be carried out in a Shop where You will be able to converse with someone in English and if specific parts are required they are easier to obtain.
I'm sure that You are already aware of most of these variables ,but there are many who don't do their homework !
