The key to that post is Jim Lewis intervened. I have had a lot of communication with Jim lately. I am supposed to be pushing Vagabundos insurance ($75 an hour cap), since I am wagon mastering for them, but the labor cap is why I am planning to pay more, & use L&L myself next year. I notice they also provide medical evacuation and one of the locations is Vancouver. It is very important to most Canadians that they get evacuated to Canada where they have medicare, not the US. If labor cap is no issue then Vagabundos is cheaper.
I have never had a claim. A wagon master last spring did 26K worth of damage to his toy hauler, Vagabundos insurance (or should I say the company they sell for) paid 23k, but he had it fixed in Canada where the RV labor rate is the same as the US, but the Canadian dollar is worth 20 cents less. He had a hassle because they tried to tell him the cap was $75 Can in Canada. Vagabundos del Mar intervened & straightened them out.
