Downshift BEFORE you start gaining SPEED

Use brakes sparely
STAB them and quickly scrub off speed (reduce by 10 mph) then GET OFF THE BRAKES

Repeat as needed to maintain downhill speed


Uphill.....grear down and use higher RPM
Stay in right lane and don't expect ahny spped records
