Getting excited about the first trip south in about 5 years. With the aging of The Church Book, I'm not seeing an alternative to a locator of CGs. Rvparkreviews.com has a pretty good Mexico section but its dated too (not their fault...we RV'ers need to provide input).What sources are good for planning CG stops? We want to explore, not stay in one CG. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Chris...I follow them on FB but for some dumb reason I never checked their web page. Let me scope that out. iOverland.com has a database of camping site. It is mostly oriented towards intrepid overlanders in a variety of vehicles rather than staid motorhomers in Class As but it does include quite a few regular RV parks as well.

As I was researching the Baja earlier this year I found that most of the web sites are badly out of date as is the Church book. In an email to the Churches asking if they planned to update the book I got a reserved "No". All of the travel books (LP, Moon, Fodors, etc) for the Baja are out of date. Although the Moon book does list RV parks.I think the best thing to do is just GO and see what is there. I had the best luck by contacting a few parks directly and looking at their web sites.

iOverland.com has a database of camping site. It is mostly oriented towards intrepid overlanders in a variety of vehicles rather than staid motorhomers in Class As but it does include quite a few regular RV parks as well.
