What is the best route without taking I 90? If you suggest I 90, what is the toll for a 38 ft fifth wheel from I 495 to I 84? Thanks,

US20 (Boston Post Road) is fine. Pretty much parallels the Pike. Ran that way back in the day when I was broke and couldn't afford tolls. Used to be a big truck route.
