Long Island to florida
Hi all. Need a little info ,we will towing our 31' kz frontier from LI NY to DeLand FLA and I need to find out how to get around the fort McHenry tunnel Thanks phil.

If you want an enjoyable ride with quiet countryside views. After you go over the Delaware Memorial bridge look for the signs for RT 1 south Dover and follow it south to Rt 113 south. This eventually joins back up with 13 south without all the lights and small towns. Go over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and follow the signs to 58 west to Emporia VA. It will take maybe an hour longer than 95 but No Baltimore or Washington and Suburbs. You may opt to take 17 south out of Virgina Beach all the way to Myrtle Beach, it is not a bad road and beats highway travel all the time. Good luck and enjoy the trip. I will be going that way in a couple of months on the way to Florida.
