Looking for camping suggestions US 2 ND, MN, WI
We are on are way home (no hurry to get there LOL) Would prefer public lands, (no RV Parks). Have a class B and and love National and State Forests. Mark and Linda

Chippewa National Forest straddles Hwy 2, in MN. There are a couple campgrounds open until late Oct or mid-Nov. They are all right around Deer Lake, MN, which is in between Bemidji, MN and Grand Rapids, MN.
There are many MN State Parks close to Hwy 2, that are beautiful and pretty much empty this time of year, most if not all have electric.
Lake Bemidji State Park
Itasca (headwaters of the Mississippi)
Schoolcraft State Park
