Looking for

Hi,
My wife and i are getting ready to head north from Yuma, Arizona to Washington state through Las Vegas. We have a 42' Keystone Raptor and we are pulling it with a 1 ton crew cab dually so we have a pretty large set up and with all of that we do not have a ton of towing experience, some but again not a ton. We are hoping someone out there can give us some tips on this question. We are looking for a place to park for a day or two that might be easier than most areas getting in and out on or near the west side of the city of Las Vegas. In particular in or around the Spring Valley area along freeway #215. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • I'm in a similar boat - crew cab/long bed dually pulling a 42' fifth wheel with some, but not a lot of towing experience. I found the Big Rigs Best Bets guide to be pretty helpful in our travels.

I can't help with Las Vegas, maybe you can find something in the book.

  • If it was me, I'd look for the nearest RV park to your desired location. That's a big rig. There are several RV parks in the greater LV area. You can use rvparkreviews.com to find one that might meet your needs.
