Get in and out in the morning and you should be fine.

The real danger in that walk line is all the idling cars right next to you.

In early November, it was a Tuesday and we stood in line at least an hour on our return.

^ What he said. Wait times are a bit unpredictable. But generally going on a weekday there is less traffic. We went to the dentist there on a Friday once, and the wait coming back into the U.S. was fairly long -- longest we ever recall and we have been there many many times.

As has been said, going over is fine but there is a long line coming back. Even so, you can have some interesting conversations with people while waiting in line.

It's still early in the season for the
"snowbirds," so there should be a very minimal wait to cross, especially by foot.

Typically, when driving, the traffic will be on weekends when more people are crossing to spend weekends across the border at the resorts on the Sea of Cortez.

Things should be fine now, but it would be great to have more input!
