Louisville traffic

I'm mapping out a trip and noting that I will likely hit Louisville, KY right around rush hour on a Tuesday (5ish). There are a couple of routes to take southbound (through the city, 265-64-264 around the west or 265 much further around to the east.

Anyone know what traffic is like and which route is likely to be the best bet?

    Your best bet is to look at a traffic flow map on your smartphone or computer. That's the only way to actually know at the time. You may have no problem at all.

    If you are using Google Maps, you may want to set it to avoid tolls and see how that changes their recommendation for a route through Louisville. There are some toll bridges in the area.
